Data processed by each tool

Scrabble

The letters you enter (rack, board) are sent to the server only to compute the best possible words, then are neither kept nor reused after the result is displayed.

Anagram

The word you enter is sent to the server only to check whether it exists, find its anagrams and the words that can be formed with its letters, then is neither kept nor reused after the result is displayed.

Sudoku

When you import a photo of a grid, it is analyzed in your browser (grid detection, digit cropping), then a thumbnail of each cell is sent to the server to be automatically recognized.

Every imported photo, along with the intermediate analysis images and the recognition result, is automatically saved on the server (with no account or identifier attached). This is kept solely to improve, offline and manually, the digit recognition model used by the tool. This data is never analyzed for other purposes, shared with a third party, or used for commercial or advertising purposes.

If your photo contains information you would rather not have kept (a face, an identifiable background, etc.), avoid importing it, or contact us to request its deletion (see "Your rights" below).

Crossword

The number of letters and the letters you already know that you enter are sent to the server only to search for matching words, then are neither kept nor reused after the result is displayed.

Nonogram

Nonogram runs entirely in your browser: no information entered or deduced while solving is sent to the server.

Cookies

The site sets a technical session cookie (needed for the admin area to work). The cookies set by Google AdSense to display ads are only set after your consent, collected via the banner shown on your first visit (see "Advertising" below). Audience measurement (see "Website analytics" below) does not set any cookie.

Website analytics (Matomo)

The site uses Matomo, a self-hosted analytics tool: the data stays on our own servers and is never shared with a third party. It is configured without cookies, so it cannot track you individually across visits. The data collected (pages visited, referrer, device type) is used only to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

The site displays ads provided by Google AdSense. A banner asks for your consent before any advertising cookie is set; you can change your choice at any time via the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of the page. Once consent is given, this service may set cookies and use technical identifiers to personalize the ads shown and measure their performance, including based on data from other sites you have visited. Hosting

The site is hosted by Infomaniak SA (Switzerland). The data described above is stored on its servers.

Retention period

Photos and images related to Sudoku are currently kept for no defined duration, the time needed to build a dataset large enough to improve the recognition model. You can request the deletion of yours at any time.

Your rights

In accordance with GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure and objection regarding data concerning you. To exercise it, write to contact@gamesolus.com, specifying, if possible, the approximate date and time of your import.
