Anagram

How it works

  1. 1

Enter a word in capital letters, without accents.

  2. 2

Run the search: the number of letters and whether the word exists in the dictionary are shown.

  3. 3

The word's anagrams (same length, same letters) appear first.

  4. 4

Then come all the other words that can be made with these letters, from longest to shortest.

What is an anagram?

An anagram is a word (or phrase) formed by rearranging all the letters of another word, without adding or removing any. For example, "listen" and "silent" are anagrams of each other. Beyond the game itself, looking for anagrams helps you visualize possible letter combinations - a useful reflex in Scrabble and in crossword-style puzzles, where quickly spotting that a group of letters forms another word helps unlock a grid.
