Free tools for word and logic games

GameSolus brings together six tools to help you with your favourite games: check whether a word exists, find the best Scrabble move, fill in a crossword grid or get unstuck on a hard Sudoku. Everything runs directly in your browser, on desktop and mobile, with nothing to install.

For word games

The Scrabble solver works out every possible word from the letters on your rack, blank tile included, and ranks them by score. The Anagram tool tells you whether a word exists and lists its anagrams along with every word that can be made from its letters. For crosswords, just enter the length of the word and the letters you already have. Finally, the Synonyms tool shows the synonyms, broader terms and opposites of a word. Every word found comes with its definition.

For logic games

Take a photo of a Sudoku grid: it is straightened and its digits are recognised automatically. You can then ask for a hint that explains which deduction technique to use (naked single, naked pair, hidden triple...), or generate a new grid at the difficulty of your choice. As for nonograms (picross), each grid has been designed and checked by hand so that it can be solved by logic alone.
